Dorothy Melchert (nee Schneider), of Blackwood, NJ, passed away on January 1, 2020 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Melchert. Loving mother of Bob Melchert (Carole) of Erial, NJ. Proud grandmother of Melissa Geserick (Daniel) of Hilltop, NJ, Bobby Melchert (Aubrey) of Blackwood, NJ, and Jenna Farrell (Daniel) of Williamstown, NJ; great-grandmother of Larkin Geserick, Charlie Geserick, Harper Farrell, and Daniel Farrell. Dear sister of Rita Schneider and Agnes Hinkel, both of Wildwood, NJ. Dorothy greatly enjoyed shopping, no store was off limits. She loved spending time at the casinos and playing Bingo at St. Jude’s Church. She liked to go bowling whenever she had a chance. Viewing will be Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012, where her funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
