Dorothy’s Obituary BELVIDERE – Dorothy Mary Margaret Greer, age 84, of Belvidere, IL and formerly of Lockport, IL passed away peacefully Monday January 20, 2020. Born in Chicago, IL on May 12, 1935 to Joseph & Elizabeth McCall (Zager). Dorothy enjoyed dancing, reading & gardening, and was known for her delicious tomatoes. She loved her Ford Mustangs and rooting her favorite sports teams to victory, which include Notre Dame, Chicago White Sox, LA Lakers and the Minnesota Vikings to name a few. Loving and caring in all her ways, she loved her many adopted rescue dogs. Beloved mother, grandmother and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever. She is survived by her daughter, Cathleen (Joe) Rich; son, Timothy (Susan) Greer; grandchildren, Katelyn & Matthew Greer; and her many beloved rescue dogs. She is predeceased by her husband, William Greer; aunts, Mary Zager and Rose (Art) Blesch; and her parents. Services are Private. Cremation rites accorded.
