Bluefield, WV- Cornelious William “Billy” Steward, 64, of Bluefield, WV, died Friday December 27, 2019 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born February 4, 1955 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Shirley Lampert Steward of Bluefield, WV and the late Leonard Andrew Steward. Billy worked as a Hair Dresser for many years at Mrs. & His and later at Directorz Cut where he had a faithful clientele. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bluefield. Billy loved horseback riding, was a member of the Bluefield Elks Lodge, and had many friends. In addition to his mother, survivors include his brother Leonard Andrew Steward and wife Verona of Bluefield, VA. A memorial service will be held on Monday December 30, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Don Hammond officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until the service hour.
