Beverly (Heinzmann) Ketchum, 79, of Plainville, passed away Monday (January 27, 2020) at Hartford Hospital. Born in New Britain, Beverly was a Southington resident before moving to Plainville in 2016. She was a graduate of New Britain High School class of 1959. Beverly loved having pets, especially her Pugs. Surviving are two sons, Scott Ketchum and his spouse Peter Braunfield of Boca Raton, FL, and Todd Ketchum and his wife Kathy of Kensington; three grandchildren, Kendra Shaw of Bristol, Haley Shaw of Portsmouth, VA, and Alex Ketchum of Sparks, NV. Beverly was predeceased by a brother, I. Gilbert Rau. Funeral Services are Friday 1 PM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. Burial will at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Friday from 12:30 to 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation in Beverly’s memory to your local pet shelter.
