Obituary Ann Lee (Barnes) Scully, 94, of Fox Street passed away Monday at home. She was born in Lexington, NC on November 3, 1925 to the late Grover and Zella (Michael) Barnes. Ann grew up in North Carolina and settled in West Springfield in 1966. She worked as a clerk in the Springfield Bulk Mail Center for 25 years. Ann was a former member of the Churchland Baptist Church in NC. She loved her annual trips to Myrtle Beach, SC to spend time with family. She was the loving widow of Raymond Scully who passed away in 1979, beloved mother of Steven M. Scully and his partner Cindy Egbert of East Otis and Patrice Charles and her fiancé Bryan Young of West Springfield. The family would like to thank Loriann of hospice for her wonderful care and compassion. The calling hours will be from 10 – 11 am Friday at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Spfld., followed by a Funeral Home Service at 11 am. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Ann’s name may be made to Baystate Visiting Nurse Assn. and Hospice, c/o Baystate Health Foundation, 280 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
