Wesley “Little Mister” Dean Bartz, infant son of Dustin Bartz and Jaylee Follmuth, peacefully passed on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. A Celebration of Life will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake. Wesley was born at 2:11 a.m., November 9, 2019, at the Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion. He weighed six pounds, three ounces, and was instantly loved and adored by his family and siblings. Grandma Sharri and his siblings’ singing calmed him, while country music was his favorite. He enjoyed going trapping with his daddy, but most of all, his mommy’s milk was his favorite. Wesley is survived by his parents, Dustin and Jaylee of Thornton; siblings, Austin Follmuth, Thomas Bartz and EmmaLee Bartz; grandparents, John and Sharri Follmuth of Rockwell, Katherine Morton of Clarion and Dean Bartz (Doreen Dralle) of Kesley, IA; aunts and uncles, Jessica Follmuth (Greg Nauss), Steven (Amy) Follmuth, Katherine (Jason) Echelberger and Sharon (Josh) Albertson; eleven cousins; and great-grandparents, Jack and Rita Follmuth, Constance Beery, John “Jack” and Cleo O’Connor and Bill Morton.
