VICTORIA LYNN DANIEL Victoria Lynn Daniel was escorted by angels to her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, in Bay City, Michigan. She was born August 1, 1969, at St Mary’s hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved daughter of Kathryn Kay Bender and Steven Lee Daniel. She was baptized at Redeemer Lutheran Church, in Saginaw, Michigan. Cherished first grandchild of the late Aileen and Fredrick Bender. Her godparents were her Aunt Jeanne Fizell and Carol Hebert, cousin. She was confirmed and attended school at Immanuel Lutheran church and school in Crystal Lake, Illinois 5th through 8th grade. Victoria was an avid reader from a young age and believed in the power of books and learning and the wonder of the places it could take you. She loved athletics and participated in sports such as baseball, volleyball, soccer and basketball. Victoria attended Immanuel Lutheran in Des Plaines, IL. She also attended Redeemer Lutheran Elementary School, in Saginaw, MI for second grade. As a vivacious and fun loving student, while in high school, she attended both Crystal Lake South, in Crystal Lake, Illinois, and Prospect High in Mt. Prospect, IL. She excelled academically and was an outstanding gymnast from her earliest years, enjoying her numerous competitions in high school. In addition to the gymnastics team, she also ran cross country. Victoria grew up enjoying dancing, cheerleading and tumbling. She especially enjoyed teaching her skills to the 5-8year olds she coached at the local YMCA where she had taken lessons from her earliest years. Her talents were many and Victoria first studied to be a beautician as she enjoyed doing hair and makeup. Her sweet spot was in IT. She studied computers and was certified as an IT tech. She was employed for many years at Saginaw Bay Underwriters. As oldest cousin, Victoria loved to adore and second-mother all those cousins who came after her until she became a mother herself to her daughter Stephanie Lynn Daniel, (Kyler Williams). She was a soccer mom who faithfully attended all activities for her daughter. She wholeheartedly welcomed her daughter’s friends into her home. She married Daniel Berg who to this union added her beloved stepson Brandon Weiler to the family. She was delighted to become grandmother to Ozzy Brian Williams and was anticipating the birth of her second grandchild in June 2020. She had an avid love of animals and had many cherished pets over the years. She leaves behind to mourn her death, her pet Chihuahua’s Caesar and Romeo, her faithful fur companions. She is beloved by her many cousins, and numerous aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors and caregivers. Victoria was predeceased by her grandparents, her Aunt Sharon Bender, Uncle Monte Cross, and Brian Bender, special cousin. Family would like to thank Katie Arebelo and Kendra Moreno, for their special love and care. Honoring Victoria’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a future date.
