Obituary Thomas H. Fenicle, 89 of Stonington passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. He was born on December 10, 1930 in West Fairview, PA the son of Raymond and Mary Catherine (McGarvey) Fenicle. He married Joy Ann Hensley on February 7, 1954 in Orlando, FL. He then married Margaret C. Moore on December 17, 1995 in Taylorville, IL. Tom worked as an auto parts salesman and was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his Son: Mark (Denise) Fenicle of North Ft. Myers, FL; Daughter: Karen Joy Eramo of Orlando, FL; Step-daughters: Sherry (Randy) Schorey of Stonington, IL; Debra Friedrich of Springfield, IL; Grandchildren: Heather (Jesse) Alston of Houston, TX; Brian Fenicle of Portland, OR; Megan Fenicle of Minneapolis, MN; Amy Fenicle of North Ft Myers, FL; Step-grandchildren: Donnie (Jen) Schorey of Shelbyville, IL; Joshua (Holli) Schorey of Moweaqua, IL; James Dean (Amy) Morgason of Mt. Zion, IL; Cherish Bittle and Cassandra (Mike) Padilla both of Centralia, IL; step-Great-Grandchildren: Jordan Huggins of Las Vegas, NV; Samuel and Joshua Geary of Centralia, IL; Faith Padilla of Centralia, IL; Ruby, Remington and Rafe Schorey of Moweaqua, IL; Jackson and Kiley Schorey of Shelbyville, IL; Jamie Friedman of Shelbyville, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Margaret C. Fenicle, Brothers: Gerald and Lennus; Sisters: Geraldine and Mary. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral Service will be immediately following the visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Rev. Richard McKirahan officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Sharpsburg, IL. Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
