Sharon Louise Campbell, 67, Johnson City, died Thursday, December 26, 2019, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Sharon was a Johnson City native and former resident of Carter and Washington counties. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Ellen Poore Hilton. Sharon was a Phlebotomist and was employed with the Johnson City Medical Center and LabCorp, retiring in 2017. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who she loved dearly. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenny, Bobby and Jim Bill Hilton, and three sisters, Jan Rodifer, Jo Francis and Gail Mullins. She is survived by her two sons, Jeremy Campbell and wife Cara, Oak Ridge, NC, Jonathan Campbell and wife Elizabeth, Johnson City; five grandchildren, A.J. Campbell, Casey Campbell, Chance Campbell, Calla Campbell and Madison Gott; three brothers, Tommy, Dale and Richard Hilton, all of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews. Sharon’s wishes were to be cremated, which her family will honor. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 4, 2019, from 2:00-4:00 P.M. in the East Parlor of Appalachian Funeral Home.
