Robert Eck Donnells, Jr. passed away peacefully at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore on December 26, 2019. He was 77. Robert was born on August 3, 1942 in Baltimore, MD. He was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service. Robert enjoyed playing slot machines, bingo, shuffleboard, and bowling. He served honorably in the United States Army from 1964-1966. After his service in the Army he married his wife Betty Jane on February 24, 1968 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Baltimore, MD. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Betty Jane Donnells; children, Denise Donnells of Es, MD, Kevin Donnells (Natalie) of Bel Air, MD, and Jason Donnells of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Margaret Donnells, Laura Donnells, and Ross Brooks; and a sister, Rochelle Powder of Glen Burnie, MD. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Hilda Powder, stepfather, Francis Powder Sr., and his brother, Francis Powder Jr. Services will be held privately.
