Richard Eugene Johnson, Sr. June 05, 1947 – November 27, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Richard Eugene Johnson, Sr., 72, of Lancaster, formerly of Nelsonville, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 in The Plains. He was born in Jefferson County, Ohio, June 5, 1947, son of the late Paul and Maud Alma Six Johnson. Richard was a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He formerly worked for Tri County Community Action. He is survived by children, Richard (Debra) Johnson of Lancaster, Ohio and their sons, Robert Tucker, Timothy Tucker, Joseph and Jeremiah; Sherry (Dean) Yockey of Marengo and their children, Joel, Dylan, Abigail and Sean; Barbara (Adam) Menard of Aledo, Texas and their children Victoria, Celina and Charlotte; Sara (Lewis) Gomez of Reading, Pennsylvania and their daughter, Julia; Ruth-Anne (Mike) White of Reading, Pennsylvania and their son Elias; Robert Johnson of Sinking Springs, Pennsylvania; granddaughter, Kyla; brother, Jimmy Johnson; sisters, Carolyn Griffith of Nelsonville and Irene Bailey of Nelsonville, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Matthew R. Johnson and brothers, Paul, Eddie and Herbie Johnson. No services will be held at this time.
