Pauline’s Obituary MADISON – Pauline Bessie White Haislip, 90, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2020 at True Gospel Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Manuel officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Haislip was born on June 16, 1929 in Rockingham County to the late Virgil Lester White and Bessie Bullins White. Pauline was a member of True Gospel Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and managing her collectables. She will be remembered for always being a diligent worker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Haislip; sons, Wayne and Harold Haislip; brothers, Tom, Frank, Greely, John Henry and Bill White; infant brother, Roy White and sisters, Dorothy Seay and Little Annie. Survivors include her daughter, Darlene Little (Anthony); grandchildren, Bradley Biggs, Randy Hopkins, Crystal Hopkins, Joy Baker, Tony Via, Tracey Haislip and Becky Purdy; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren, sister, Betty Perry and daughter-in-law, Cathy Haislip. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home and all other times at 7150 NC Hwy 704, Madison.
