Myrtle was born on February 20, 1927 in Plain Dealing, Louisiana. She worked for many years as a clerk at the Red Cross Drug Store and was Christian by faith. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, John Lambeth, Jr., parents James and Loney May, daughter, Frankie Rawlings, son, Clarence Lambeth, 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Myrtle is survived by her, daughter, Kathy Simons and husband Roby, sons, John Lambeth and wife Darlene, Charles Lambeth and wife Geneva, Dale Lambeth and wife Janice, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin. Funeral service will be held at 10AM Saturday, December 21, 2019 at A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel-Thomas St. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps, AR under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes.
