Michael “Mike” Gaines February 09, 1981 – December 29, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Michael “Mike” Gaines, age 38, of Iberia, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019, at his home. He was born in Jefferson City on February 9, 1981, son of Marcus and Corlis Colleen (Luttrell) Gaines. In 2002, Mike married Lora, who survives. Mike enjoyed fixing and working on vehicles. He attended Waynesville Technical School for auto body graduating at the top of his class. Mike was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and he enjoyed collecting coins, trading cards and was an avid fisherman. He was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle in Iberia. He is survived by his parents, Marcus and Corlis Gaines of Vienna; grandmother, Patsy Sien of Iberia; grandfather, Bruce Gaines; aunts and uncles, Johnny Luttrell (Rose), Nicky Luttrell, Twyla Warman (Kirk), Gordon Gaines (Beverly), David Gaines, Walter Gaines (Shirley), and Almalee Dittman (Paul); and several relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Basil Luttrell and Colin Gaines; grandmother, Alma Gaines; great-grandparents, Noah Gaines, Joe Lee; uncle, Robbie Luttrell; and cousin, Macala Shelton. Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Iberia with Bro. Ernie Miller officiating. Inurnment will be held at Madden Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Michael Gaines’ Memorial Fund.
