Obituary Matthew V. Luketic, age 72 of McKeesport, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in UPMC McKeesport. Born August 22, 1947 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Matthew E. and Mildred (Zaiac) Luketic. A retiree from the McKeesport Municipal Authority and former member of Sacred Heart Parish in McKeesport, Matthew was a member of the CFU #146, Wastewater Pollution Control Association, and a 22 year member of the Democratic Committee of McKeesport. He was also a member of the McKeesport Jaycees for 10 years and, in 1976, he was chosen as Jaycee of the Year. Matthew is survived by his sister Carol (Larry) Harrison of Trafford; his nieces Kimberly (Jeff) McNaney and Cari (Wayne) Ireland; his great nephews Tyler Larkin and Andrew and Nathan Gligonic; and his great-nieces Tara Shultz and Emma Gligonic. Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. A Blessing will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 10 AM with Deacon Dale DiSanto officiating. Procession and burial will follow to Sacred Heart, Port Vue.
