She was born December 2, 1963 in Horton, KS the daughter of Keith and Mildred (Wenger) Bowser. Linda graduated from Jackson Heights High School in 1982 and attended NEK Technical College in Atchison. She was a homemaker. Linda married Donald Ray Borders, II on October 30, 2008, they celebrated over 11 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband, Donnie of the home; her parents, Keith and Mildred Bowser of Holton, KS; a son, Derek Weixelman (Samantha) of Onaga, KS; 3 daughters, Ashlee Borders of Bartlesville, OK, Harlee Borders-Riney (Brett) of Manhattan, KS and Emilee Borders of Topeka, KS; 6 grandchildren, Phoenix, Cyrus, Lilee, Donovan, Keaton and Kamden; a sister, Bonnie Hochstetler (Steve) of Horton, KS and 2 brothers, Jerry Bowser (Mary) of Whiting, KS and Rusty Bowser of Oregon. A family gathering will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Linda Borders Memorial Fund to be designated at a later date c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
