Lawrence “Larry” Lisowski February 11, 1957 – December 25, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Lawrence “Larry” Lisowski, 62 of Windham, NH, died peacefully on Dec. 25th at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, while surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born February 11, 1957 in Westfield, MA, where he grew up and was educated. He earned his B.S. in Industrial Manufacturing at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, in 1979. He was a resident of Windham, NH for the past 24 years, formerly of Hudson, NH. Larry worked as a Principal Manufacturing Engineer for Endeavor Robotics in Chelmsford, MA, where he led the manufacturing effort for robots used by the American military to help save soldiers’ lives. He volunteered to represent Endeavor Robotics at the NH Tech Fest for several years to help spark young minds’ interest in STEM. He was a former coach for the Lego League teams at Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, NH. Larry was also a former mentor for the FIRST Robotics Team 811 from Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, NH. Larry loved being outdoors, hiking, hunting, fishing, skiing, playing golf and gardening. He was a skilled handyman who enjoyed small construction projects and he was an excellent cook. Besides his parents, Larry was predeceased by his brother John Lisowski. Larry is survived by his wife Michelle (Malouin) Lisowski of Windham, NH, and their three children, Alexander and his wife Alyssa Lisowski of Londonderry, NH, Christopher Lisowski of Windham, NH, and Rebecca Lisowski of Windham, NH. Surviving Brothers: Rev. Thomas Lisowski of Springfield, MA, David Lisowski of Florence, MA, and Joseph and his wife Lisa Lisowski, of Kingston, MA Surviving Nieces: Victoria and Christine Lisowski, Surviving Nephews: Neil and William Lisowski Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday, Jan. 4th from 2-5 PM, followed by a funeral service at 5 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the ALS Association Northern New England Chapter, Concord NH or the ALS Therapy Development Institute, Cambridge MA, to further ALS research.
