Janet Ann Griffin, 86, passed away on December 25, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cairo and Tempie James. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 69 years, Calvin Griffin; daughters, Lynn Griffin and Calvie Wingfield; grandchildren, Benjamin Mason, Olivia Mason, and Natalie Wingfield. Janet was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and to her grandchildren she was an incredible “Mema”. Janet loved spending time in the Outer Banks, NC and was a member of Thalia Lynn Baptist Church of Virginia Beach.
