Scott June 15, 1963 – December 23, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation James D. “Scotty” Scott, 56, of Connersville, passed away on Monday, December 23,2019, at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio. He was born on June 15, 1963, in Connersville, and is the son of William N. Scott and Sarah Jane McCashland Scott. He had attended PTC Ministries in Connersville and Edwards Memorial Church in Liberty. James had worked as a factory carpenter for Visteon and had most recently been employed at Miami Properties in Oxford, Ohio. He loved to spend his time horseback riding, camping, and spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies. He was also an avid dog lover. James is survived by his fiancée, Angie Sparks; his step-mother, Reida Scott; a son, Donny (Ashley) Maze, of Connersville; a brother, Donald Jeffrey (Anita) Scott, of Fishers; two sisters, Kim (Shane) Durham, of Liberty and Julie (Tim Callas) Burns, of Greenfield; three grandchildren, Emma, Ellie, and Eli, as well as eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sarah. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home to assist the family. Urban-Winkler Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
