Lupita was born in Tejamen Durango later moving to Monterrey Nuevo León later marrying and moving to the United States and residing in Mercedes for 72 years. She was a housewife who was very religious and loved to sing, play Loteria and going to the Adult Daycare and she always wanted to be dressed up and look pretty. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend she was the matriarch, the sunshine and inspiration to our entire family and she will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.Preceded in death by her parents, 7 siblings, her husband Pedro Ramirez, 2 sons Ignacio & Isidro Ramirez, and great granddaughter Carolina Zavala. She is survived by her sister Felipa Arriaga from Monterrey Nuevo León, her children Martina Contreras – Desoto, TX ; Maria De La Luz Zavala (Tomas Guevara) – Grand Prairie, TX ; Margarita Ayala – Mercedes, TX ; Pedro Ramirez Jr (Delia) ; Alejandro Ramirez (Anna) – Mercedes, TX ; Olivia Montero (Isidro) – Dallas, TX ; Irene Zamarripa – Hoisington, KS ; Rosario Munoz (Juan) – Weslaco, TX, 25 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren including step grandchildren and 24 great great grandchildren including step grandchildren. Visitation will begin Thursday January 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:oo p.m. Friday January 3, 2020 will be departing at 9:30 a.m. to have a mass at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church Mercedes, Texas. all funeral services are conducted and under the care of Rudy Garza Funeral Home Mercedes, Texas To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Guadalupe M.
