Cordell’s Obituary Cordell Alvaine Abbott, 43, of Claymont, DE, departed this life on Friday, December 27, 2019, at his residence. Born in Seaford, DE, he was the son of Eugene H. Abbott, Sr. and the late Eunice Lee Abbott. He graduated from Delaware Technical Community College with an associate’s degree and Wilmington University with a bachelor’s degree. He was employed by GeoBlue, King of Prussia, PA, as a QA Software Tester. Mr. Abbott was a member of Faith City Family Church, Newark, DE. In addition to his father, he will be lovingly remembered by: four brothers, Larry Savage, William Savage, Eugene Abbott, Jr., and Fontaine Abbott (Carmen); two sisters, Valerie Abbott-Jenkins and Trista Savage-Smack (Hollis); several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Mr. Abbott will lie in repose on Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 10 to 11 AM at New Dimensions Ministries, 1907 Jersey Road, Salisbury. The funeral service will begin at 11 AM.
