Chris’ Obituary Chris Vining Cole, 62, of Dalton passed away suddenly on Monday, December 23, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Charles Freeman Vining, Jr. and Star Cashon Vining and was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Dot Cole Hall. Chris loved fashion and dancing. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Lawrence Cole; children, Caz Cole (Andrea Trujillo), Cali Cole (Olin Zmarzly), Jeff (Donna) Cole, and Josh (Jen) Cole; grandchildren, Lynx Zmarzly, and Jack, Maddie, Brett, Chase, and Zac Cole; brothers, Charles Vining III, and Milton (Carolyn) Roberts; sister, Robin (Don) Thompson. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Thursday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. Mr. Terry Miller of the First Church of the Nazarene and Dr. Jim F. Cole, Jr. will lead the service. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 on Thursday. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, GA Chapter, 922 E.
