Obituary Bonnie L. Franks, 70, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH. Bonnie was born October 9, 1949 in Wilmington, Delaware. She was the daughter of the late Arnold Franks and Jesse (Ransom) Sipps. She loved the beach and reading novels. Bonnie wrote poetry and fiction. She enjoyed cooking, caring for her houseplants and she had an appreciation of antiques, art and photography. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Barbara Franks and an infant grandson, Christian Crawford. Bonnie leaves behind her daughter, Bobbi Jo (Steve) Crawford of Indiana; her son, Bryan Maddocks of Toronto; her sister, Kim (Brian) Anderson of New Jersey; her brother, Jon Franks of North Carolina; her step-father, Harold Sipps of New Jersey; her ex-husband, friend and the father of her children, Robert Maddocks; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Bonnie’s wishes were to be cremated with no services observed. Her family will gather to celebrate her life in the future. Arrangements for Bonnie are in the care of the J.E.
