He was preceded in death by his father, Weldon York. He leaves to cherish his memories, devoted mother, Ann Smith; devoted brother, Rudolph Smith; loving aunt, Juanita Harrison; a host of loving cousins, among them, Sarah Jones, and other loving relatives; including a host of loving friends, among them, Shalimer Hall, Marquita Goode, Lorraine Mallory, and Howard Miller. Weldon was supported by a loving, caring church family. Funeral services will be held at Guilfield Baptist Church, 2550 Manakintown Ferry Rd., Powhatan, VA on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 1 PM. Rev. Morris Gant, Pastor, Officiating. Interment Church Cemetery.
