  1. Dear Richard, I had tried to reach Mary a few times last year to no avail. Now I understand. My father Fred Winans who along with Joe has passed due to Alzheimer’s. Mary introduced me to flaming duck a’lorange & I am a culinary person to this day because of your wonderful Mum. She also walked on my back & taught me spinal health. I am sad I did not know of her passing… I will always hold her in my heart. Much love to you & your family, Karin Winans

  2. Dear Richard, Samantha, and Ava, I was so sad to receive my mail back from Mary. I had hoped when I wasn’t hearing from her that she had moved to PA and had lost track of my address. She was such a special person to me and Richard. When she asked us to give Joe his burial in GA we did so with pride. She will always remain in our hearts. I loved talking to her for hours on the phone. She was so graceful in every phase of her life. I learned so much from her the many years I knew her. I send much love to all of you , Lyn K. Brown, Georgia
