James Gordon Holder of Irving passed away November 4, 2019. He was born on February 24, 1934 in Munday, Texas to Carl Holder and Ester (Parker) Holder. James proudly served his country in the United States Army before starting his career as an Operations Manager with the McDowell Association. He was a member of The American Legion and enjoyed reading, especially westerns. James is preceded in death by his parents, brother Dennis Holder, and sister Betty Williamson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Elaine Holder; daughter Carla Cade; sons Robert and Chris Holder and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with a host of extended family members and friends. A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens at 1413 E. Irving Boulevard in Irving. Please check back for service date and time.
