February 8 1944 November 3 2019
On Sunday November 3, 2019, Conrad Jensen, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at his home at the age of 75. Conrad was born in the Washington DC area to Biel and Catharine Jensen. He was married to Doris Jean Mortimer for 57 years and together they raised three children Jon, Bill, and Roberta. A dedicated and loving husband and father, he spent countless hours volunteering as a coach, swim official, pack leader, to mention a few. For most of his career he worked as a finance executive for GMAC, where he was employed for 32 years. “CJ” loved spending time with Doris, the family, and all the family pets up “in the mountains” at their family getaway in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Many hours were spent blowing leaves, cutting wood, cleaning culverts, riding his tractor, and just enjoying hard work outdoors with the ones he loved. He was predeceased by his parents, Biel and Catharine, and sister Jane. He is survived by his wife Doris, sister Catharine, three children, Jon, Bill, and Roberta, daughter in-law Kimberly, six grandchildren, David, Catharine ‘Caity’, Michael, Melanie, Max, and Sydney, nephew David, and nieces Kelly Ann and Heather. The family will be having a small private gathering in the coming weeks to celebrate his life with family and friends.
