Christopher James Waddell, age 45, of Lavonia, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 at his home. He was born October 26, 1974, in Atlanta, the son of Paul A. Waddell, Jr. and Joan Maureen (Blanke) Waddell. He was a graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and a commercial driver. Chris was baptized at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville and attended services at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hartwell. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother & sister-in-law: Patrick & Jessica Waddell; sister & brother-in-law: Kathleen & Patrick Kennedy; nephews: Kaleb Waddell, Austin Waddell, and Andrew Kennedy; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by an infant brother and his grandparents: Charles & Maureen Blanke and Paul Waddell, Sr. & Bernice Waddell. Chris will be cremated in accordance with his request. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
