Billy Ray Ralston, 87, of Covington, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019. He was born in Helfin, AL to the late Iwayne Ralston. Billy Ray was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was a member of Victory Tabernacle in Conyers. He loved sharing the Word of God with everyone and he evangelized. His hobbies included going to auctions. He is preceded in death by his wife Ada Bell (Smith) Ralston, mother Iwayne Ralston, daughter Debra Vanmeter, son Ray Ralston and several siblings. Billy Ray is survived by his children, Denise and Jeff Land of Covington, GA, Gary and Jan Ralston of Panama City, FL, daughter in law Donna Ralston of Covington, GA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; sisters Charlotte, Judy and Faye. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Bro. Clint Kent officiating. Interment will follow after at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Wheeler Funeral and Cremation Services, 11405 Brown Bridge Rd, Covington, Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
