William’s Obituary Mr. William Norington, also affectionally known as “Nate”, was born on June 12, 1939 to Willie and Odessa Norington in Chicago, Illinois. He was one of ten children. Both parents; his brothers, Nathaniel, Gary and David; and his sisters, Dorothy and Lillian all preceded him in death. Nate accepted Christ at an early age. He received his education in the Chicago Public School System, graduating from Manley High School. Nate started working at the age of seventeen for Sandberg Manufacturing Company. Later in life he was an employee for Wilson Jones, and also Johnson & Johnson. Nate was married to Edna Stinson and to this union four children were born. Edna preceded him in death. God called his son Nate home on Monday, October 8, 2019. Nate leaves to cherish his memories: His sons, Lindell (Iris) and Kevin (Kimberly) of Chicago, IL and Derek (Mary) of Rock Island, IL; his daughter, Donna of Columbus, OH; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; his brother, Carl of Chicago, IL; his sisters, Rochelle of Chicago, IL and Joanne of Lansing, IL; a special friend, Renee Joshua and her daughter, Katrina. Nate’s memory will also be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Read More
