William “Bill”‘s Obituary William “Bill” Loren Harris, age 77, of Louden, Ohio passed away peacefully early Friday morning October 25, 2019 at his home. He was born December 8, 1941 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of the late Loren and Wanita (Bonifant) Harris. Bill worked as a computer engineer for Siemens in South Lebanon for over 47 years. He earned his associate’s degree from the Ohio College of Applied Science in Cincinnati. He was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, member of the Bell Choir and known as “Wild Bill” to his family and friends. He could fix anything and enjoyed helping others with their cars or house projects. He loved his dogs, hiking, bicycling, camping and fishing. Bill adored his wife, Ruth Anne and they did everything together. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth Anne Harris, whom he married on November 23, 1963 in Zanesville, Ohio; two children, Suzanne Beth (Bill) Biedenbach of Alva, Florida and David James (Jackie) Harris of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren, Michelle (Daniel) Hill of Nashville, Tennessee, Steven Biedenbach of Burbank, California, Kathryn (Tim) Williams of Warrenton, Virginia, Thomas Biedenbach of Gainesville, Virginia, Zachary Harris of San Antonio, Texas and Caleb Harris of San Antonio, Texas; three great grandchildren, Jayme Williams, Gabriella Williams and Olivia Williams; a brother, James (Jean) Harris of Cincinnati; a brother-in-law, David Maier of Parkersburg, West Virginia; his beloved dog, Sammy the Schipperke and many friends. Celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 2, 2019 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.
