Wilford Dean Weaver, 81, of Organ, NM, formerly of Kossuth, passed away at his home on Sunday October 6, 2019. Born January 8, 1938, in Kossuth, Dean was the son of the late Wilford “Wick” and Dorothy Weaver. Dean graduated from Keystone High School then served in the Army at Fort Bliss, Texas. While in the Army he was a left handed pitcher for the Army baseball team. Dean worked for the PA Highway Dept. then went on to own Weaver Auto Parts, W. dean Weaver Trucking and W. Dean Weaver Excavating. Dean enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR, racing at Tri City Speedway, working and being able to give many young people jobs over the years. Dean is survived by his children Aurie Weaver and his wife Tracy of Shippenville, Roxanne Grimm and her husband Dave of Bradenville and Gaylene Courson and her husband Tim of Knox; his grandchildren Brandon Courson and his wife Ashley of Shippenville, Brittany Eisenman and her husband Corry of Knox, Jake Courson of Knox, Katie Grimm of Pittsburgh, Tristan Grimm of Bradenville and Rayce Weaver of Shippenville; his great grandchildren Owen and Wren Courson and Decker Eisenman. Also surviving are Dean’s brothers Gary Weaver and his wife Cathy of Knox, Denny Weaver and his wife Vicki of Cranberry and Dave Weaver and his wife Deb of Knox. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Ron Weaver and Arnie Wever. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
