OBITUARY NOTICE: Mr. Walter Benjamin “Benny” Price, age 67 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Friday, October 11th, 2019. He was born on May 13, 1952 in Sandsprings, Ky., a son of the late Carl Samuel and Anna Mae Vance Price. Benny was an over the road truck driver, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Those left to celebrate his life: His son, James Price of Mt. Vernon, Ky; His grandchildren: Vanessa, Dalton and Savanna. His brother: Harold Price of Brodhead, Ky; as well as nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Benjamin Scott Price, and a sister: Brenda Price.
