Thomas L. Smith, age 84, of Alabama Highway 168 West, Boaz Alabama died October 4, 2019 at Marshall Medical Center North. Funeral service will be Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Pleasant Hill #2 Baptist Church with Bro. Chris Reaves, Bro. Gene Lambert, Bro. Harold Baugh and Bro. Joey Grant officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from noon until service time at the church. Mr. Smith was born in Boaz, Alabama on December 19, 1934 to H. Baker and Lula Jane Teal. He was a retired Steel Plant Manager. He is survived by his Wife: Helen Douglas Smith of Boaz, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Danny Lee & Karen Joy Smith of Steele, Steven Don & Susan Angelique Smith of Boaz, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Beverly Marie & Phillip Baugh of Douglas, 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, Sister: Mary McCormick of Sardis, Sisters-in-Law: Glenda Sue Smith and Shirley Douglas both of Boaz. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Baker & Lula Smith and Brother: Fred Smith. Pallbearers will be Jason Smith, Justin Smith, Brad Roberson, B. J. Price, Matt Jackson and Wayne Milam.
