Steven James Curley, 60, of Burlington, passed away at 10:18 AM Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at his home. Born June 18, 1959, in Burlington, he was the son of James Louis and Shirley Lou Eastburn Curley. He worked at Ebert Supply as a Delivery Clerk and Maintenance at Masonic Temple in Burlington. Steve was a 1976 graduate of Burlington High School. He was an Avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears Fan. Steve had a very giving heart and always willing to help others. Survivors include two sisters, Barbara J. (Bob) Drew and Mary A. Daedlow both of Burlington, three nieces, three nephews and several grand nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his parents, one sister Janice Curley-McCoy and two brothers-in-law, Marvin McCoy and Denny Daedlow. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory. The private Graveside Committal Service for Steve will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 25, 2019 at Aspen Grove Cemetery on the family plot with Reverend Debra Kinney officiating.
