Obituary of Shirley Mae Armstrong Mrs. Shirley Mae Armstrong-Tabor, age 78 a resident of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Armstrong-Tabor was born June 22, 1941 in Geraldine, Alabama to Robert and Frances (Buell) Armstrong. She lived in the area for over 60 years coming from Alabama having spent most of her time in Auburndale. Shirley was a loving mother, a homemaker, and she loved to cook. She had a knack for improving recipes other than her own. It was a Gift. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Gordon A. Tabor; and sister Mary Joyce Bearden. Shirley is survived by; Daughters: Vicky Ann (Michael) Ort, Connie Cherie (Gene Bujinoxsky) Tabor. Sons: Martin Gorgon (Suzi) Tabor, Ricky Cleveland, Randy Cleveland. Sisters: Sarah Armstrong, Patricia Burke, Diane Armstrong; Brother: Lamar Armstrong. Granddaughters: Heidy (David) Clifford, Heather (Daniel) Cox, Tesla Tabor, Kalea (Chris) Varner, April Cleveland. Grandsons: Tanner Bujnoxsky, Devin Bujnoxsky, Brandon Holliday, Dylan Holliday, Cody Holliday, Travis Cleveland, Jonathan Cox. Great Grandson: Henry Cox.
