Robert’s Obituary Funeral services for Mr. Robert “Bobby” Guy Lawson, age 77 of Milan, will take place at 2:00 PM Monday, October 21, 2019, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM service time at the funeral home. Bobby was the owner of Bobby’s Bakery in Milan. He also worked at ITT. He enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens Center and drinking coffee at the Huddle House in Milan. Bobby was a life long resident of Milan, and he was Christian by faith. Bobby is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Tim) Ward; son, Anthony (Alena) Lawson; sister, Becky Lawson; five grandkids, Todd (Ashley) Ward, Tasia Crocker, Tyler (Summer) Ward, Trisha Ward, and Jazmine Lawson; and two great-grandkids, Zayne Ward, and Sophie Burke. He is preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Opal Lawson; brother, Jerry Lawson; sister, Edith Crowe; granddaughter, Chelsea Lawson; sister-in-law, Dorothy Lawson, and a brother-in-law, Lloyd Crowe.
