Robert’s Obituary Robert passed away unexpectedly on Friday September 27th. He was 77 years of age. Born and raised in Roxbury he was the only beloved son of the late Robert E., Sr. and Eunice Carter. He received his early attending Boston public schools. He was inducted into the US Army and served during the Vietnam Era. He was attached to 504th MP Co. and was honorably discharged in 1966. He returned to Dorchester and resided there for most of his life. He returned to school and gained his Doctorate in Jurisprudence. As an attorney he worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a hearing officer with States Insurance Review Board. Robert resided for several years in the Keville House at the Soldiers Home in Chelsea and befriended many of his fellow veterans there. To mourn his passing and cherished his memory, he leaves his dear sister Kimberly Taylor of Dorchester and his niece Dominique. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to gather at the Cardinal Cushing Pavilion, 91 Crest Ave., Chelsea on Tuesday October 15th fron 10:00 AM immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael the Archangel Chapel at 11:00 AM. Military Honors will be rendered at the conclusion of Mass. Following cremation, committal in Mt. Benedict Cemetery will be held at a later date and will be private. . Read More
