Richard “Ricky” Lynn Burgess, age 63, of Americus, died at his residence Tuesday, October 8, 2019. A native of Americus, he was born August 11, 1956 to the late Richard and Annette Burgess. Ricky was a member of First Baptist Church of Americus where he was a Deacon and past chairman of the Deacons. He was a proud father and grandfather, a 1974 graduate of Southland Academy, and worked part time for WISK/WDEC radio for over 45 years.
