Richard Ephraim Foster, of Blackwood, NJ, passed away on October 6, 2019 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Phyllis Foster (nee Band). Loving father of Cyndi Woods (John), Michael Foster, and Amy Foster. Proud grandfather of Madeline Woods. Dear brother of Lawrie Foster (John) and the late Baird Foster (Margo, surviving). Richard is also survived by his sisters-in-law; Carolyn Band, Donna Mainart (Bob), Debbie Schiavo, and Karen O’Brien. Richard was a graduate of Rider University. He was a longtime member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Blackwood, where he served as an Elder and ton. He greatly enjoyed fishing in his free time. Richard was a passionate fan of all Philadelphia sports teams. Visitation will be Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the 1st Presbyterian Church of Blackwood, 21 E. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012, where a memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard’s memory to the 1st Presbyterian Church of Blackwood, 21 E.
