ODESSA JACKSON April 12, 1950 – October 11, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Funeral services for Odessa Jackson, 69, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Harvest Baptist Church in Ferriday under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 to 7pm at the funeral home. Bishop Justin Conner will officiate. Burial will be held at the Saint Mary Church Cemetery on Lake St. John. Miss Jackson, daughter of Ernest and Corean Washington Jackson was born in Ferriday and died at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. She is survived by one son, Donald Jackson of Morgan City, LA; six daughters, Shonda Jackson and Tressie Jackson of Baton Rouge, LA; Tanyu Lewis of Aurora, CO; Shelia Addison and Myrna Mason both of Atlanta, GA; Christie Jackson of Ferriday; two brothers, Jimmy Jackson and Ernest Jackson, Jr. of Ferriday; six sisters, Ethel Jackson and Carolyn Jackson of Alexandria, LA; Alice Jackson and Audrey Jackson of Baton Rouge, A; Ora Lee Stevenson of Kansas City, KC; Ernestine Boswell of Eureka, KS. Also twenty one grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and a number of cousins. Miss Jackson is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Otis Jackson, Daniel Washington and Jerry Jackson.
