Herboth, son of the late Dorothy Rieman and Louis Herboth was born in Effingham, Illinois, on April 8, 1960. He departed this life at his residence in Ellington, Missouri, on October 29, 2019, at the age of 59. On November 10, 1990 in Effingham, Illinois, Michael was united in marriage to Rose McNail. Michael enjoyed demolition derbies, he won his first demolition derby in 1983 and he continued participating in the derby’s until 2011. Mike also enjoyed playing cards, washers and marbles. He loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and barbequing with his family. Mike enjoyed visiting with people and he loved the time that he got to spend with his family especially his grandchildren. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Joseph Herboth and David Herboth and one sister Dolores Morris. Michael is survived by his wife, Rose Herboth of Ellington, Missouri, eight children, Nicole Slater and husband Levi of Effingham, IL, Jason Herboth and wife Holly of Montrose, IL, Travis Herboth and wife Jamie of Effingham, IL, Emily Foster and companion Dustin of Ellington, Missouri, Joseph Herboth of Cape Girardeau, MO, James Herboth and wife Elizabeth of Bunker, MO, Denver Donald of Ellington, MO and Clayton Donald of Sacramento, CA, a goddaughter, Jodi Nuxoll of Effingham, IL, 12 grandchildren, three brothers, Donald Herboth and wife Jo of Altamont, IL, Carl Herboth and wife Inge of Altamont, IL, and Francis Herboth and wife Marsha of Watson, IL, nine sisters, Joan Eggers of Effingham, IL, Louise Nuxoll and husband Tom of Effingham, IL, Jeanette Barr and husband Allen of Effingham, IL, Pauletta Strunk and husband Randy of Effingham, IL, Kathryn McGuire and husband Mike of Edgewood, IL, Rebecca Adams and husband Jake of Effingham, IL, Dorothy Hawker and husband Paul of Hazel Dell, IL, Martha Breer and husband Gary of Teutopolis, IL, and Melinda Sayne of Bloomington, IL, his mother and father in law, Robert and Erma McNail of Ellington, MO, two brothers-in-law, brother-in-law, Johney Morris of Bradley, IL, Robert McNail and wife Jamie of Herculaneum, MO. Michael will be missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing.
