Michael E. Pierce November 26, 1958 – October 16, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Michael E. Pierce, age 60, of Tomah, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at his home. He was born November 26, 1958 in West Salem to Eugene and Lois {Meyer} Pierce. Mike married Robin Anne Pleuss on January 31, 1998 at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. She survives and will miss him terribly. Also surviving are his children Thomas and Benjamin Pierce of Tomah; siblings, Jackie (David) Farbo of New London, Jeffery (Kim) Pierce of Dallas, TX, Steve (Kathy) Pierce of Tomah, Kim (Tim) Skala of Marathon; mother and father-in-law, Tom and Pat Pleuss of Tomah; brother-in-law, Troy (Dawn) Pleuss of Tomah; nieces and nephews, Troy, Jenny, Melissa, Brady, Tianna, Ian, and Kallie; as well as many other loving relatives and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his parents. Mike was a life long dairy farmer and later worked in retail sales. He was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church and was a great man of faith. Mike enjoyed playing cards and refurbishing many vintage snowmobiles. You could find him cheering on his Wisconsin teams as an avid Green Bay Packer, Milwaukee Brewer, and Milwaukee Bucks fan. Mostly, Mike loved his family and spending time with them. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 525 Superior Avenue, Tomah. Pastor Curt Backhaus will officiate. He will be laid to rest at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Tomah. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 4-7 PM at Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah and from 10:00 AM until time of services Wednesday at the church.
