Mrs. Marilyn Ann Hewitt, 72 of Valdosta passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Hewitt was born December 24, 1946 to the late Jack & Ann Milligan Knight. Survivors include her husband, Burno Hewitt of Valdosta; children, Melissa Woodell of Valdosta, and David Hewitt of Valdosta; grandchildren, Mikel O’earn, Miles O’Hearn, Moira O’Hearn, and Hailie Woodell; and two brothers, Rick (Janice) Knight of Jacksonville Beach Fl, and Roy (Linda) Knight of Yulee, Fl. Mrs. Hewitt was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen Knight, and Jack Knight, Jr. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Bishop Spikes officiating. Interment will follow at Nashville Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Purvis Funeral Home.
