Lindsay Clotilda Estelle (Carr-Orr) Grouns of Rolla, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the age of 23. Lindsay was born in Palm Springs, California on May 26, 1996. Lindsay was a prayer an answered for her parents, William and Jill (Winterbottom) Orr, September 6, 2003 was the day they were blessed with the little girl they had prayed for. Lindsay graduated from Francis Howell Central High School. She later moved to Rolla, Missouri. August 25, 2018 she was united in marriage to Rodney Grouns, this union was blessed with a daughter, Abriella Grouns. This baby girl is a shining gift from God. Lindsay adored her, and was a wonderful mother. She loved singing to her, snuggling, and cuddle time “all the time”. She was a caretaker at heart, both the elderly, and children loved her. She had a great heart and spirit. She was employed at Applebee’s as a server/bartender. She had a passion for life, and for her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to all, and will be forever missed and never forgotten by those that knew and loved her. Lindsay Clotilda Estelle (Carr-Orr) Grouns is survived by her husband Rodney, of the home; daughter, Abriella Grouns, of the home; parents, William and Jill Orr, of St. Charles, MO; mother and father-in-law, Rodney and Shannon Grouns, of St. James, MO; brothers, Jon Winterbottom and fiancée Julie Bingesser, of St. Louis, MO, and Chris Orr, of St. Charles, MO; sister, Kirby Brown; a host of extended family and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2019 at the St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary at 11:00AM with Bro. Brad Dimock, and Bro.Brandon Buford officiating. Internment will in the St. James Cemetery with Donald Grouns, Samuel Karlinski, Rusty Wagner, Tyler Lewis, Derek Bilyk, and Gerard Winterbottom serving as pallbearers. Lindsay’s cousin Brianne Buford will play and sing Amazing Grace. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the chapel on Wednesday, August 15, 2019 from 5-8PM. Memorials to Abriella Grouns are suggested and greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers, cards are available at all James & Gahr locations.
