Joseph John Zielinski, Jr. Utica, NY Joseph John Zielinski, Jr., 53, of Utica, passed away at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, after a short illness, with his family by his side, and peacefully entered into eternal life October 7, 2019. Joe was born in Utica, NY, July 6, 1966, son of Marie Luley Zielinski and Joseph J. Zielinski, Sr. He was a graduate of Whitesboro High School, class of 1984. Mr. Zielinski worked as a security guard at Herkimer County Community College. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle ways, Catholic faith, love for God, family and friends, and his Polish heritage. Joe is survived by his second mother, Linda Zielinski; siblings and spouses, Anne Zielinski, Denise (Tom) Laribee, Cheryl (Jeff) Tromley, twin brother Edmund Zielinski, Loralyn (Joe) Colosi, Charlene (Ray) Rivera, and Darrel (Heather) Bernard; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents. A special acknowledgement to the people at Willow Park, especially his best friend Tom, who Joe considered his family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Carr Cemetery, Marcy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are in care of Dimbleby Funeral Homes, Inc., Whitesboro.
