Mifflin, age 87, of DuQuoin, IL, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 5:35 a.m. in DuQuoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, DuQuoin, IL. Jacqueline was born on October 9, 1931 in DuQuoin, IL, the daughter of Guy H. and Virginia Helen (Weinberg) Mifflin. Jacqueline worked as a lab aide for Memorial Hospital of Carbondale for many years until she retired in 1992. She was a member of the DuQuoin Women’s Club and First Christian Church, DuQuoin, IL. She is survived by several cousins and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Maurice Mifflin. Graveside funeral services will be held at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, DuQuoin, IL on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Wiggs, Jr. officiating. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, DuQuoin, IL or Perry County Humane Society. Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL has been entrusted with arrangements.
