Helen Lavon Van Etten February 17, 1931 – October 26, 2019 Helen Lavon Van Etten, 88, of Forest, Mississippi, died at home Saturday, October 26, 2019. She was born in Scott County on Tuesday, February 17, 1931. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home – Forest. Graveside services will follow at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Larry Duncan will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Forest will be in charge of arrangements. (601)469-1941 She was preceded in death by her husband, H.C. “Buddy” Van Etten; her parents, Isaac and Effie Weems and seven Siblings. Survivors include her children; Pamela Jenkins (Larry), Debbie Tadlock, Sandra Dry, Ronald Van Etten (Joyce), Douglas R. Van Etten (Gwen), and Harlon D. Van Etten (Pamela); Twelve grandchildren and Ten Great-Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jason Dry, Matthew Dry, Josh Van Etten, Chris Van Etten, and Jesse Van Etten.
