Hector’s Obituary At 49 years of age, Hector passed away on Tuesday October 8th at the Glen Ridge Nursing Care in Medford where he had been receiving supportive care for the the past several years. Born in Everett he grew up in Chelsea and was a beloved son of Maria Diaz–Santiago and Gregorio Robles. He attended the Williams School in Chelsea and began working full time at a young age. Hector began working as a fleet-mechanic with Waste Management and most recently with FW Russell in Somerville. Suffering a tragic injury 5 years ago he has been medically disabled since that time. A lifelong resident of Chelsea he was the beloved husband Maria I. Diaz and devoted father of Tatiana Diaz, Hector Luiz Diaz, Jr. David Diaz, Jonathan Diaz, Amando Diaz, Ethan Diaz, Hailey Diaz and the late Tiana Diaz. Loving son Maria Diaz-Santiago and Gregorio Robles. Dear brother of Roberto Diaz. Cherished nephew of Eneida Diaz and Lucy Diaz. He is also survived by many loving cousins, extended family members and friends. ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held at the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway CHELSEA on Friday October 11 from 4 – 7 P.M. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend. Services will be conducted from the Welsh Funeral Home on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
