Gertrude Lorraine Joyal, 89, passed away on October 3, 2019. Gert was born on July 10, 1930 and was married in 1950 to the love of her life, the late Raymond E. Joyal for 61 years. A native of Nashua, NH, she lived in Naples, FL since 1988. Gert and Ray have a son, Michael of North Hampton, NH and a daughter, Debra (Thomas) Lugrin of Naples, FL. Through Debra, Gert was grandmother “Nana” to David and Alison. Through David (Lindsey) she was great-grandmother to Katherine, Suzanne, and Henry. Gert was the daughter of Eva and Henry Vaillancourt and sister of Dorothy Donahue (predeceased) and Lucille Lafrance of Nashua, NH. In Nashua, as in Naples, Gert dedicated her life to her loving relationships as wife to Ray, as Mom to her children and as Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be a mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 10:00am. An interment service will be held in Nashua, NH.
